Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire update video. In this video, I will be talking about the new Game of Thrones prequel series that's under development at HBO. According to many sources, HBO is developing a new Game of Thrones prequel series about Aegon "the Conqueror" Targaryen. This series is currently being written by Mattson Tomlin, and 'Fire and Blood' author, George R.R. Martin. The series will highlight what happened during the reign of Aegon I Targaryen, and his sisters, Rhaenys and Visenya Targaryen. Aegon I Targaryen is the founder of House Targaryen's dynasty in Westeros. He was the first Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and king on the Iron Throne. Not only did he unite six of the Seven Kingdoms, but he also created the Iron Throne, with the help of his dragon, Balerion the Black Dread.
