Amazon Closes Hubs In Several Major Cities Orders Drivers To "Stop Immediately And Return Home"

Amazon has begun to shut down hubs in major cities warning that it's too dangerous to continue normal operations. "scaling back deliveries in a small number of cities" The thing is these are Major cities. They also added "We are monitoring the situation closely and in a handful of cities we adjusted routes or scaled back typical operations to ensure the safety of our teams," a company spokeswoman said. The company is also reportedly closing some of its hubs near these areas (though, to be sure, most of Amazon's larger fulfillment centers are in more rural or suburban areas). Amazon's decision might further disrupt strained supply chains, cutting off what has been an essential service for millions of Americans stuck inside their homes. Delivery drivers received messages on Saturday night advising them that “If you are currently out delivering packages, stop immediately and return home. If you have not completed your route, please return undelivered packages to the pick-up location whenever you’re able to do so." The company said it would only re-open delivery stations when it’s safe - meaning the longer this continues. We also need to talk about the US stock market that is grossly overvalued as many retail investors have been waiting on this V-shaped recovery though at this point it seems to be pretty clear that isn't going to be happening. Citi, JP Morgan, and Goldman have all expressed their views the stock market may have reached it's limits.
