Amazing Trash & Treasure Hunting Custom Lightning McQueen Dyson Mega Haul & Legal Problems

Kerbside cleanup MEGA study of valuable Trash & Treasure that's up for grabs. This is the Australian Summer 2023 cleanup and what I find this time around is amazing. Of course there is lots of Made In China rubbish and some of it isn't very old. Just incredible to find a $1000 near new Carpet Cleaner and $700 new DeWalt line trimmer. If I see items that are not made in China I focus on them. By seeing the quality of items made in Japan, made in Australia or wherever we start to understand how good older consumer goods are. In this way the rubbish piles talk to us and are hopefully indicating to us the perils of consistently buying cheap Made In China rubbish which becomes fast landfill. I find a record number of Dyson vacuum cleaners, and none of these are spring chickens. One of them was destroyed by vacuuming up plaster dust. The Summer time cleanup coincides with Christmas decorations around homes. I do look over one of the best light display houses in the suburb right on dusk even if my iPhone struggled.
In this video I remember a fantastic Australian YouTuber. Edward "Ed" Jones (1986 - May 29, 2019, aged 32, known more commonly as Aussie50 was an Australian YouTuber who uploaded content about technology, gaming and engineering mainly in his shed from late-2008 to mid-2019. I learned lots of things Aussie50's videos, Ed was a very intelligent person who explained electronics and engineering in plain English. He had a passion for scrap stuff and hacking just about everything he touched.
This is a long video, I don't expect anyone to watch it in one hit. There's a lot of amazing finds along the way and this time around I revisit rubbish piles as they evolve. It's amazing what gets picked up as valuable trash.
I did have a serious run in with a local who said I had no permission to video the rubbish that's put out for council collection. This local was aggressive and threatening. It had me delay this upload while I looked into the rights of video recording rubbish in a public space. Remember this rubbish is put out on the curbside outside of a property boundary. I'm also careful not to identify which house the rubbish comes from. In fact I never speak about streets to identify exactly where I am. Anyway this run in with the local nutcase did have me pull up the video.
